went to the ntu open house with mei ping, pei rou and wai kuan. and i'm glad i went cos if not i would most probably have made the wrong decision. SO, i have finally finally made my final decision. i shall be applying for bachelor in accountancy in ntu, instead of the double degree which i initially was very tempted to take. because after talking to the professor ( i believe that he's one), i feel that what he said made a lot of sense. according to him, having a double degree will not give you an edge over others because after employers employ you, they still need to train you from the start even though you may have impressive honours. haha. so he said, why waste one more year studying or an additional degree when you can spend the one year accumulating working experience and after that you can take up masters if you want to. because after all, a masters will definitely be better than a double degree. just like how a jc cert will be better than 2 o level certs. haha.
should i stay in a hostel or not?
anyway, i really want to express my gratitute towards mr ducro. because i know that throughout the 1 yr i was in his class, i was a total leech who made no contributions to the class at all. for one, i nv spoke up in his class. and i always rush to his class the moment the bell rings, because i want to be sitting in the back row. haha. but i know that mr ducro will nv read this, unless he decides to google his name one fine day.
