yesterday was a great day cos we had our first np gathering in 2 years.
went to watch orphanage with cally, mei ping and doreen first at yishun gv. haha. that was my first horror movie in 2 years ok. so i feel quite accomplished, because if i'm not wrong, my last horror movie was Reincarnation, when i was in j1. but actually the movie is not really scary, only a few gruesome scenes. the movie had a pretty good storyline too.
after that, we went amk hub to walk walk around. then the guys came and we went pizza hut for dinner. ordered 4 sets of the italian meal. haha.
it was quite a nice gathering cos we seldom have the opportunity to sit down together and talk, especially during the 2 horrible jc years. but the guys and girls are still pretty much segregated, just like before. nevertheless, i'm glad that the np bond is still there. i guess all the trainings, drill sessions and scolding sessions together made us closer, even up to today. after dinner we went to the playground opposite pizza hut to sit down and talk.
then i realised that everyone is working so productively. because they are all taking more than one job, some even three. that made me feel super slack. because i think that it's not the amount of money earned that's important. it's the spending of our free time more productively that's more important. so, i have decided to take up a second job - tutoring. anyone has cute primary school cousins who want tuition? haha.
